What’s happening this week
All of the ranges will be closed until the completion of the Youth Nationals from Monday 25 March until Monday 1 April. This will allow for the preparation and running of the event.
We have nearly 140 competitors who will be attending with several support personnel including parents. This is one of the major events on the Archery calendar with attendees coming from all over the country.
If you are going to assist with this event please make them all welcome and show them how the sport can be played in a friendly manner. The Committee would like to send a special thank you to all who have volunteered to help with this event.
Why not come along and have a look a one of the major events on the archery calendar. Please see: https://home.tuggeranongarchery.com/2024/03/11/youth-national-archery-championship-2024-event-booklet/
The Invictus Sports Day
Last Saturday the Tuggeranong Archery Club hosted the Annual Invictus Sports Day and what a fantastic day it was. We had a perfect Autumn day and over 700 participants. Archery was very popular with long queues all day and some very exhausted coaches by the end.
A special thank you to those who helped on the day I know that the archery clubs have had plenty of inquiries from this event.
