Tuggeranong Archery Club

Tuggeranong Archery Club Inc (TAC) is a not for profit sports club in Canberra, Australia. We are one of three Archery Australia affiliated clubs in the ACT and have been serving the community since 18th January, 2002. The main goals of TAC are to promote Archery and also help support archers to achieve any skill level they wish, be it recreational or professional.

Main Range

TAC’s Main Range accommodates archers of all skill levels over all distances from 5m to 90m. Moveable rag filled target butts are always in place so that members and invited guests can set their own distance according to the level of confidence or training requirement.

The shooting line has a covered shade structure behind the line where archers can set up their gear and be protected from sun and rain when required.

The range is also floodlit, which permits archers to shoot comfortably at night to around 30m for those members who find it difficult to get to the club during daylight hours.

For competition events the main range is overlooked by a DOS platform attached to the Indoor Hall. During registered competitions the rag-filled target butts are replaced with lighter competition foam target butts.

There is a gravel path between the center target lanes, dividing the main range, that provides wheelchair archers with a more accessible way to go to their target to score and remove arrows.
