Tuggeranong Archery Club

Tuggeranong Archery Club Inc (TAC) is a not for profit sports club in Canberra, Australia. We are one of three Archery Australia affiliated clubs in the ACT and have been serving the community since 18th January, 2002. The main goals of TAC are to promote Archery and also help support archers to achieve any skill level they wish, be it recreational or professional.

Come’n Try

Visitors and members of the public are most welcome to “Come’n Try” archery every Sunday morning.

Sessions are held every Sunday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 am except over the Christmas school holidays.

  • The first session of each year is the Sunday after ACT School Term 1 starts
  • The last session of the year is the Sunday before ACT School Term 4 ends
The fee for each participant at Come'n Try is $15 for the session, which covers equipment hire and range fees.

There are limited spaces in the session, approximately 40 people, so to participate in a Come’n Try session please take note of the following:

  • To participate in Come’n Try you must wear closed-toe footwear, i.e.:
  • Please arrive at the Club no later than 9.15am so that  the session can begin on time;
  • Booking is not required. Come’n’Try is operated on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • Minors (under 18’s) participating in Come’n Try must be accompanied by a responsible parent/guardian at all times.
  • Minimum Age : 7 years old
  • No bare feet
  • No thongs
  • No sandals, etc.

Each session is operated under the control and supervision of Archery Australia registered coaches.

After experiencing a number of “Come and Try” sessions, enthusiastic visitors are encouraged to apply for Club Membership. After this you can progress into the Club’s OzBow development program and are eligible to participate in weekly club rounds and competition as your experience grows.
