Upcoming schedule of events
Spraying of Blackberries
ACT Parks and Conservation will be spraying the blackberries in and around the Club including the Field courses. This is expected to commence on Monday the 8th of January and be completed on Tuesday the 16th of January, dependent on the weather.
All TAC members are advised not to pick or eat the blackberries.
Working Bees
There will be 2 working Bees for the preparation of the Field Courses for the ACT Field Championships and the Junior National Championships.
These will occur on the 3rd and 10th of February, Starting at 09:00. Works to be carried out will include:
- Gluing of Target faces
- Replacing butts with the 2 that are repaired
- Re-configuring the course layout
- General course maintenance
Depending on how much is done in the 2 working bees in February it may be necessary to have an additional one in March for the Junior National Championships.

AACT Field Championships
2024 AACT Field Championships – 17 & 18 February, this event will consist of an Unmarked and Marked round.

2024 Invictus Day
All Tuggeranong Archery Club ranges will be closed on Saturday 23rd of March 2024 for the 3rd Invictus Australia Defence Community Sports Day.
Range Closures
From Monday the 25th of March until Monday the 1st of April (inclusive) all the TAC ranges will be closed for general shooting including the Monday, Wednesday indoor shoots, weekend competitions and Come & Try.
This is to allow for the preparation and to conduct the Junior National Championships
2024 Junior National Championships
TAC has been awarded the Junior National Championships for 2024 and 2025. This is one of the largest events on the Archery Australia Calendar and will have archers coming from all over Australia.
A considerable amount of work has already been done in preparation for this event and there is a lot more to do. If you are able to help in the days leading up to the event or able to help on one or more of the days, please contact Cherie on: ynac.coord@tuggeranongarchery.com

- 31 Mar 24 – WA 18 Indoor x 3 flights
- 01 Apr 24 – WA 720 Morning and Afternoon session with Presentation Dinner post
