Monday Night Indoor Social Shoot happens every Monday night from 7pm. This is a fantastic group of friendly archers – traditional, compound, longbow, Olympic recurve and everything in between can often appear! Come along and learn about indoors, get some sight settings and build some confidence in your indoor shooting. If you have questions, get in touch with secretary@tuggeranongarchery.com.au
AACT Fletchlings Tournament will be held at Weston Valley Archery Club (WVAC) on 28th November 2026. The Fletchlings tournament is for newer archers in the ACT to test their skills and experience an introductory tournament. You can find more information and a link to registration here or on our Facebook page. Registrations close 22nd November.
Wednesday Night Indoor League is continuing until the end of the school term and will recommence 14th October. This is a fantastic way to participate in low pressure indoor competition, where scoring is optional!
Club, Handicap and OzBow events at TAC can be found via Archers Diary. If you’re not sure how to find it, approach a coach or committee member who can help you find events!
Thank you!
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and effort for the TAC Working Bee and the National/State Indoors. Without your generous contributions, the club would not be able to offer top notch facilities to the broader archery community. If you volunteered, please remember at time of membership renewal to flag your contribution with the committee to receive a discount on your membership fees.

Range notices
If you place TAPE on a target butt, please remove it before you leave. Tape can come off the butts in changing weather conditions, become stuck to wildlife and create litter on the range. A condition of our lease is we maintain a clean range. Please help us to keep it clean and maintain our lease!
Target butts are colour coded to indicate the poundage suitable for shooting at the butt. This is to keep your arrows in one piece and our butts easily maintainable. Yellow butts are for lower poundage. Red butts will take higher poundage. A friendly reminder under AA Policy, bows over 60lbs are not to be shot at the club. If you damage a butt or have a point become lodged, PLEASE let a committee member know – DO NOT cut chunks of foam out of the target butts.
Workshop and hall access are closed 26 Sep – 02 Oct 26 to enable roof repairs. If work cannot be completed over this week, we will let members know.
Accidents and injuries need to be reported – please contact a committee member as soon as practicable or see an event organiser/the canteen team and they can assist you immediately after the incident and with required accident or injury forms. This is essential to ensure our infrastructure and Work Health and Safety practices are up to standard to keep you all safe and support continuous improvement.
In August, we experienced a catastrophic failure of the FOB system. We now have a new one and in August, we requested all members email vicepresident@tuggeranongarchery.com.au with your AA number, full name and FOB number to enable manual re-activation of your FOBs. For those who missed this
message, please action as soon as possible. If you have and your FOB is still not working, please see the canteen team on Sunday for a replacement. Those who can produce their FOB’s will not have to pay a replacement fee.
