Indoor Range
The Tuggeranong Multi-Sport Facility, operated by Tuggeranong Archery Club, provides archers with access to a world-class indoor archery facility. The new facility hosts 30 targets which can be shot at 18m and 25m.
The Indoor Range annually hosts Archery Australia’s National and Archery ACT’s Indoor Archery Championships and is home to TAC’s Wednesday Indoor League competition and the Monday Evening Social Indoor Session.
The range was originally equipped with fifteen target butts (supporting thirty archers)made from compressed carpet strips. However, with changes to archer space allowances, the range is being transitioned to thirteen foam target butts (supporting twenty-six archers).
The Indoor Range has both 18m and 25m shooting lines supporting all official WA and AA indoor rounds. Security cameras monitor the indoor range, which can also be used (after requesting permission) to video events.
There is ample room for spectators behind the shooting lines as well as from the mezzanine area at the back of the hall, with an indoor canteen on the ground floor directly behind the shooting lines. Their are toilet facilities at the back of the hall included a disabled toilet with shower.
