Field Course

Field Course Location

Tuggeranong Archery Club offers a 24 target field course. The course is set in natural bushland between the Murrumbidgee River (Pine Island North) and the Greenway shopping precinct.

Access to the TAC Field Course is via the club entrance gate followed by a short walk along the track behind the Beginner's target range.

Archers using the field course are asked to sign-in before shooting. There is a yellow box attached to the fence containing sign-in sheets and a pen for this.

Archers using the field course are also asked to raise the orange flag at the gate if they are the first to head out to the course and lower the flag if they are the last to return from the course.

The course is set in natural bushland and archers are advised to beware of snakes, particularly in the warmer months, and to be cautious and courteous to the wildlife, notably kangaroos, wombats and ducks that live in the bushland.

Please close all gates that you pass through.

Most archers start at target 7, due to it's close proximity to the gate, and shoot in order from 7 through 24, then 1 through 6.

The course is altered from time to time. The layout shown in the virtual tour below is correct as of 1st January, 2014.
